About
An investor who moved to your side of the table
For fourteen years I picked the companies to back and worked with them through to exit, in Europe and, in recent years, from New York. Before that I was the CFO of a technology start-up myself. Goldsmith Ventures is that experience applied for founders and the funds behind them. Where it fits, I am open to co-investing as a principal alongside founders and co-investors I know well.
Background
Twelve years at Endeit in Amsterdam, then New York
- Endeit Capital, Amsterdam, 2012 to 2024, Partner from 2021
A $660M venture and early growth equity fund investing across Europe in B2B software, AI, fintech, marketplaces and consumer platforms. I worked with 11 portfolio companies on financing, growth and M&A, four of which were sold during my tenure, sat on the Fund III investment committee, and led the build-out of the firm's US investor network. During my years there the fund completed 22 Series A to C investments, 21 exits and 25 add-on acquisitions, and helped its companies expand across Europe and into the US.
- Boards
Hubs, the AI-driven manufacturing platform: I sourced it, led the $20M Series C, and was a board member through its $280M sale to Protolabs (NYSE: PRLB). Virtuagym, the B2B fitness SaaS and payments platform: I sourced and led the Series A, joined the board, and helped it scale to strong profitability. I advised the boards and management teams of several other portfolio companies through to their exits.
- Alongside Endeit
For three years I co-hosted the investor pitch segment on the Netherlands' leading business radio show, coaching founders live on air. I sat on the advisory board of IAB Netherlands, the digital advertising trade body, for five years. I founded VEECEE, a European community of more than a thousand venture investors, and CFO.community for finance leaders of scaling companies.
- True Global Ventures, New York, 2025 to 2026
Operating Partner with a global AI-first venture and growth platform, advising US and European AI, fintech and SaaS companies from Series A to C on strategy, growth, capital structure and financing readiness. I ran financing workstreams from investor and lender target lists to data rooms and term sheets, and made 100s of introductions to VC and growth investors for portfolio companies.

Before that, an LL.M. in corporate and finance law at the University of Amsterdam with a graduate exchange semester at UC Berkeley.
How I work
Few clients, close to the founders
Engagements are retainer-based and scoped up front: a defined piece of work, a fixed monthly fee, no success fees. That keeps my advice independent of whether a particular round closes, and it keeps me on the founders' side. I am not a broker-dealer: I do not place securities or take a fee on capital raised; introductions happen as part of advisory work for the company.
I take on a handful of companies at a time, so I can sit alongside you in investor conversations, work on the materials with you, and be reachable when a term sheet lands.
